Employees from Dell OKC volunteered their afternoon to hand-washeach of the 168 chairs in the Field of Empty Chairs, wrapping up twomonths of work to rewire and rework the interior electrical wiring ofeach one. Dell’s Global Community Involvement Campaign has connectedDell employees to local non-profit organizations to create andimplement group projects that benefit the community.

"We are absolutely honored to participate in a project as specialand touching as the cleaning of the Field of Empty Chairs," said TomBenson, Site Leader, Dell OKC. "Dell prides itself in helping in thecommunity, and when we were asked to be a part of this project therewas no question that we wanted to help. Each of our volunteers viewthese chairs as representations of the 168 lives lost over 14 yearsago, and we will humbly do our part to make sure each chair is takencare of and cleaned properly. The Oklahoma City National Memorial &Museum has done a phenomenal job in honoring and remembering those wholost their lives, and Dell thanks them for letting us be involved."
